Uluwatu Bali is the best one-day travel spot in Bali island. More put it on their travel bucket list. Bali is a beautiful island covered with Indian ocean. If you are searching for more sightseeing in bali, yes Uluwatu is highly recommended for that. It makes your vacation something more special than you thought.
On our trip we decided to go to Uluwatu for 2 days. Uluwatu is not far from Bali international airport and also Semniyak. We went there from Semiyank. It atmost took around 1 hour taxi ride.

How to get around around Uluwatu Bali?
Most tourists use motorbikes to travel in Bali. Uluwatu is best place to use them. You can easily rent a bike for 60,000 lDR per one day. They keep your international IC or Passport for security reasons. It’s easier to roam around Bali. Other options are Grab, Gojek taxi. When you compare the rates of these taxies from other countries taxi fares, they are cheap and more comfortable. They have very friendly manner drivers everywhere. So you don’t need to worry.
After 1hour ride we reached our villa. Soon I’ll write my articles about Villas in Bali. After checking in, we went out for lunch. Happy to say the road was filled with restaurants. We never thought we could get food that much easier.

During lunch we planned to go to Padang Padang Beach.

Padang Padang Beach is a 5 minutes walk from our villa. It’s a hidden beach from the city. It includes beautiful set of steps to reach to beach. As we all know Bali is more popular for beautiful beaches and Padang Padang Beach is one of the popular and favourite from them. There is an entrance fee for go to the beach. The beach is famous for surfing also. You don’t want to take foods and drink items. The beach stalls supply everything you want. Very trendy and young crowds gathered there.
Really lovely beach to spend you half-day in Uluwatu. We enjoyed our time and had some coconut from a local lady near there.
After spending some hours in beach, we went to our villa. We needed to rest as we had plans to go Uluwatu temple in evening.

We booked taxi to go Uluwatu temple from our villa. The temple was not far also. The temple was full of localists as well as tourists. Our driver said, most days looks same like this. The temple is highly famous tourist spots in Bali. No one never forget to go to temple when they are in Bali.

The Uluwatu temple is most famous for KECAK DANCE or Fire dance. The temple is located in a very specific place. The temple faces the Indian ocean and located on the cliff bank with the deep rocky beach. Other special thing was sun set watching. Most people came in evening to watch sunset. Yes! Bali island very famous for sun set watching. Watching sunset on cliff of the rock was an absolutely amazing view.
Around 6pm people gathered to enjoy the KECAK DANCE or Fire dance. It’s an one hour show. We enjoyed all those cultural things.

After the show we went outside of the temple and look for our driver. But the funny thing was, we forgot how he looked like. Suddenly he came out of nowhere and said hi to us. Finally, he saved us . Most Indonesian people are like that. Very warm hearted.
