During the weekend we usually visit Gardens by the Bay. We always like to go there because it is near to our stays and to get some fresh air. Most of the tourists travel to Singapore choose Gardens by the Bay for one day travel. Here is some useful information to before you go there.
How to get Gardens by the Bay?
It is a nature park and located near Marina reservoir. If you are in Singapore, you can take mrt from anywhere and get down from “Bayfront” mrt station and take exit B. Then you can see the way to Gardens by the Bay from marina bay shopping mall.

I have one day for Gardens by the Bay. What places should I visit?
I would like to recommend you to buy tickets for both Flower dome and Cloud forest for one day. My recommended visit time in flower dome about 3 hours with a photoshoot time. And also going about 2-3 hours to visit cloud forest. If you do it quickly it can be done within 1 hour. No stress when you select these 2 places for you one day.
What to expect in Flower Dome?
Flower dome is the most popular spot in Gardens by the Bay. Flower dome hosts different events in different months.
For an Example, Skaura theme is held on March, Tulip theme is held on April to May, Roses theme held on June to July, Halloween theme held on October and Christmas theme held on December. Every event is held in a special and different way. If you are into photography, this place is perfect for this. Personally, I spent more time in flower dome during my last visits. Because I truly love flowers and enjoy my time with photography. Flower dome has many flowers from all over the world displayed in a well-organized architecture.

What to expect in Cloud Forest?
Cloud forest is most popular for its man-made waterfall. Singapore is a tiny country in South East Asia. And there are no natural waterfalls there. So, because of that kind of reasons, they made such these attractions for tourists and localists. Cloud forest made from big glass greenhouse and it’s so impressive. And special thing is, there is a long bridge to climb up. It is quite amazing and picturesque view.
How about OCBC way ?
When you enter the Gardens by the Bay, you ll see the large artificial trees towards the sky. They are known as super grove trees. It is one of the main highlights of the Singapore. The main super trees are in centre of the Gardens by the Bay. There is large walkable bridge between these trees, and it is known as OCBC Sky way. It is pretty cool walk to take selfies and enjoy the open space. The view from the OCBC Skyway is impressive. 360 picturesque view and different angle photos can be taken from here. How can walk around whole Gardens by the Bay ?
There is a shuttle service to travel to different places also. So if you have little time to spend over here please use the shuttle service. It is quick and painless way to travel. But I personally recommend to you go by walk. It’ll be good for you and there are lots of things to see. Especially you are in photography lover, definity you must walk.
