First Day at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia

Posted on February 27, 2020May 21, 2020 by Thamara

Kualar Lampur or some say KL is the Capital city of Malaysia. Malaysia is one of the largest and developed country in southeast Asia. It is the biggest travel destination port nowadays. KL offers many iconic landmarks, Man-made and natural wonders, variations of cultural things and also biggest shopping destinations.

Border crossing to Kualar Lampur

My husband and I decided to go KL after our wedding. In that time, we were live in Singapore. So, it was easy for us to travel to KL. Travel to Kualar Lampur and Singapore is about 5 hour ride from the Bus. Flight time is around 1 and half hours and it will mainly depend on your airline. We planned to go Kualar Lampur because we had seen so many things to do and places online. Our tour scheduled for 3 days because it was a long weekend. We went KL by bus. It was only border crossing. It was a quite freshly and excitement experience to both of us.  We took our bus from Nicoll Highway MRT point. Easybook was a good help to find bus rides to KL.

Attractions

After 5 hours ride, we reached KL. We checked in to our pre booked hotel. The time was almost 2am. We went into our room for rest. The hotel was absolutely perfect. The great thing was the hotel location, which is 3 or 5 minutes walking distance to train station and PETRONES Twin towers. Actually we did not know about it when we booked our hotel online. Luckily it ended well for us as it was very easy for us to travel to other attractions.

Breakfast time in Kualar Lampur

It was an very early morning in Malaysia and we were on our way to famous PETRONES Twin towers. We simply dressed up and went outside. The city was busy, and many people roamed around the city. Both of us were searching for a nearby a restaurant to have our breakfast. Most restaurants menu offer a wide variety Malay food choice. Struggling with so many choices finally we ordered some dishes with our own tastes.

Then we started our walk around the city. As I said earlier most of the iconic landmarks were nearby to our hotel. Withing 5 minutes we could reach twin towers. It is the tallest twin architecture in the world. Both towers are joined in 41 floor and 42 floors. You can go sky bride of the tower after paying entrance fee. Try to get an evening or morning time slot around sunrise or sunset. It would be a great view of the city. If you visited Burj Khalifah in duabi, then you could experience the same like this. If I remember correctly the sky bridge ticket price was cheaper than Burj Khalifa in Duabi. I am going to write an article about PETRONES Twin towers in near future. You can refer it before you go to Malaysia.

After enjoying the view of the tower, we headed to our stays.

All in all, both of us had a wonderful morning at the iconic twin towers. This was truly a spectacular skyscraper.
